Sally
Melhuish |
| Sally graduated with a Masters degree from Amsterdam Conservatorium, where her teachers
included Daniel Brüggen, Marijke Miessen and Walter van Hauwe. Sally
originally graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from the Canberra
School of Music. She has performed as soloist with the Australian Chamber Orchestra,
Cantus Cölln, Sinfonia Australis and the Australian Bach Ensemble. Sally
has worked in the US as director of the Harvard Baroque Chamber Orchestra
in their production of Cesti's opera "Orontea", and also performed in
Amsterdam and at the Spa Summer Festival in Belgium. |

| Tim is Co-Director of Salut! as well as Artistic Director of the Australian Classical Era Orchestra. He is also a member with pianist Ambre Hammond, of Ensemble Cellliano, which explores and performs chamber music from the late 18th century onwards. His fascination with Cello Historically Informed Performance and repertoire from the baroque and classical eras began in 1984 as a recent graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Tim explored this area of interest further with Jaap ter Linden at the Royal Conservatorium, The Hague. Since 1997, Tim has also specialised in performance on the basse de violon, or bass violin. |
